Tango Foundations & Technique

A class focused on the essential elements of Argentine Tango: walking, connection, musicality, balance, embrace, and the structures that form the basis of social dancing.

Suitable for complete beginners and also valuable for more experienced dancers wishing to refine their technique and deepen their understanding of the dance.

8:00–8:30pm
Guided Práctica

A relaxed opportunity to practise, ask questions, and consolidate what has been covered in class.

8:30–9:30pm
Intermediate & Advanced Tango

Exploration of more complex combinations, musical interpretation, navigation, and social dancing skills.

9:30–11:00pm
Free Práctica

Included with the class.
A friendly and informal space to dance, experiment, and socialise.

Mondays in Derby: Beginners at 7:30 pm, improvers at 8:30pm and practica until 10pm. Spondon Village Hall, Sitwell St, DE21 7FG.

Tuesdays in Leeds: Beginners at 7:30 pm, improvers at 8:30pm. Yorkshire Dance, 3 St Peter’s square, LS9 8AH.

Wednesdays in Huddersfield: Beginners at 7:15 pm, improvers at 8:15pm. MoveHD1 studio, 5 St John’s Road, HD1 5AY.

All levels welcome in a friendly and fun atmosphere with traditional Argentine steps for the social dance!
